IT Assembly Session under Academic Activities was organized on 29 Feb 2020 from 4:15 to 5:15 PM. The objectives for conducting IT Assembly Session for the students are: To enable the student’s community, to come together and share latest aspects of IT world that are of worth. To provide a medium for communicating matters of significance from one generation to another. Following topics were taken during IT Assembly Session.

2. Neuromorphic Computing

Academic Activity:  Flip Class-Room Session

Flip Class-Room Session under Academic Activities was organized on 22nd Feb 2020 from 4:15 to 5:15 PM. The objectives for conducting Flip Class-Room Session for the students to put forth the thoughts and their views on a particular topic in front of the classmates. Discussion on following Technical Talks was conducted under Flip Class-Room Session.

1. Fogonomics: The Coming Era of Fog Computing - Tao Zhang
2. The incredible inventions of intuitive AI
3. Why China's winning the quantum computing race

Outcome of the event: Flip class session helped students to understand computing principles and advances in computing.

Event Name: Expert Session on Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence

Event Type: Expert session under Special Interest Group of Artificial Intelligence Event Date and Day: 11^th January 2020, Saturday Class: MCA-I and MCA-II Venue: Seminar Hall, D.Y. Patil Institute of MCA and Management

Under the Special Interest Group of Artificial Intelligence, the expert session was conducted on Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence by, Mrs. Veena Sarda for MCA-I and MCA-II students. The session was organized on 11^th January 2020. Mrs. Veena Sarda, AI, ML, Deep Learning Consultant/Trainer conducted the session. She gave a brief idea to the students about the Artificial Intelligence and also demonstrated various applications of AI.  She also discussed about the different tools used to develop AI based applications. Total 100 students from MCA-I and MCA-II year participated the event. The entire event is coordinated by Mrs. Manasi Pandharkar and Ms. Sheetal Patil under the guidance of Dr.Kavita Suryawanshi,HOD MCA.

IT Assembly Session under Academic Activities was organized on 31^st Jan 2020 from 4:15 to 5:15 PM. The objectives for conducting IT Assembly Session for the students are: To enable the students community, to come together and share latest aspects of IT world that are of worth. To provide a medium for communicating matters of significance from one generation to another. Technical Quiz activity was conducted under IT Assembly Session. Following rounds were conducted in Technical Quiz activity.

1. Round 1: Guess the Organization name through Logo
2. Round 2: Guess the correct logo
3. Final Round: Guess the Organization name through Jingle/Motto.
4. Puzzles for audience

TED Talk onHow the Blockchain will radically transform the economy 

 Bettina Warburg, is a TED Speaker for 27^thJan 2018 session, which was organized by Dr. D Y Patil Institute of MCA, Akurdi, Pune. Bettina Warburg in her talk said - blockchain, has the potential to eliminate huge amounts of record-keeping, save money and disrupt IT in ways not seen since the internet arrived.Blockchain is a public electronic ledger - similar to a relational database - that can be openly shared among disparate users and that creates an unchangeable record of their transactions, each one time-stamped and linked to the previous one.

IT ASSEMBLY on Near Field Communication (NFC)
13^th January 2018: The session has concluded by Dr. Kavita Suryawanshi, it helped students to learn about new technologies like NFC, Automation Testing and Power Banks.

PARENTS TEACHERS MEET
Parent Teacher Meeting in the current academic year (2017-2018) was conducted on 5^thJan, 2018 in Board Room,DYPIMCA. It was planned in advance, so all class-teachers and GFM were invited to all parents of MCA-I & MCA-II year students.

TCS Agile Foundation using Jile Certification

D. Y. Patil Educational Complex has conducted the Expert Talk on “Agile and  jile Overview” by Mr. R. Vaidhanathan, Relationship Manager- Strategic Accounts, TCS on  7th September 2018 in view of student progress and career guidance. D. Y. Patil Institute of MCA and Management has taken initiative for “TCS Agile Foundation using Jile Certification” for students to become Agile certified associates with Jile product knowledge, giving them a competitive edge over others in the industry. Students has appeared for exam held on 27th October 2018, 9.00 a.m. at iON Digital Zone iDZ Narhe.  Dr. Kavita Suryawanshi, HOD, MCA was the co-ordinator for the certification program.

Co-curricular activity, “Counter Strike Competition” for MCA Second year students held on 25/07/2015 between 02:00 P.M. to 5:00 pm. The Competition focused the need of emotional, physical, spiritual and moral development of students beyond curriculum & syllabus and supplemented them for all-round development.
